Battle of Beresteczko is part of our series commemorating Polish history. Created by French Benedictine monk Jean Thibaut, and later redrawn by Vernier. The piece depicts Polish Hussars led by King John II Casimir Vasa in the Battle of Beresteczko, during the Chmielnicki uprising. The time period in Polish history became legend, and was the base of Henryk Sienkiewicz’s “With Sword and Fire.” The design was carefully edited at Blanc et Rouge, to better match the organic cotton that it is printed on. The back is made of presoftened pure linen. Available in three colors. All our cushions include a duck feather insert, and the iconic B&R zipper. Proudly handmade in Poland.
