Battle of Beresteczko, 1651 — Mustard features a historic battle scene rendered in mustard, composed of an organic cotton front and a mustard pre-softened linen backing. The design was created by French Benedictine monk Jean Thibaut, and later redrawn by Vernier. The piece depicts Polish Hussars led by King John II Casimir Vasa in the Battle of Beresteczko, during the Chmielnicki uprising. The time period in Polish history became legend, and was the base of Henryk Sienkiewicz's “With Sword and Fire”.
